This Wednesday at an undisclosed location in NYC, the Fool’s Gold fam is participating in a fairly insane 3-on-3 basketball tournament with the fine folks listed above.
And YOU can cheer us on – we’re giving some lucky (local) fans free passes to the games.
All you have to do is email email@example.com with “Band Of Ballers” in the subject line and we’ll pick 10 lucky folks to come down to the wildest sporting event this side of rollerball (the Jimmy Caan version, not the one with American Pie dude).

The NYC date of the 10,000LB Hamburger Tour is an extra-special one. It’s basically the Fool’s Gold “hometown” show, buoyed by all the extra energy of A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, and Theophilus London rocking out for their best friends and neighbors (plus the added bonus of our UK pals Jack Beats flying over to play, using the show to kick off a North American tour of their own), general TGIF craziness, 19+ at the door… IT’S KIND OF LIKE A BIG DEAL.
So with all that in mind, we’re psyched to give you a number of chances to get into the show for free ninety nine. You can win tix from RCRD LBL and Green Shoelace, and RSVP for $1 entry (and $1 drinks) before midnight here. And hey, if you just wanna buy regular tickets, that’s cool too.

If you aren’t up on the Fool’s Gold mailing list (sign-up box to the left…) you are missing out on one truly handy resource. Literally everything the fam is up to, condensed into a single email every week! That’s like Christmas, Hanukkah, and your birthday rolled into one. Word to Jeremih!
If you haven’t already, drop us your email now – to sweeten the deal, we’re going to be giving away a Kid Sister “Get Fresh” vinyl 12″ and some other goodies to one lucky FG fan picked at random from all the new email addresses collected at the end of the week. Go go go!

As you may have read, A-Trak has a brand new, officially licensed mix CD coming out on April 14th called Infinity +1. (Check the schmoove cover artwork by Dust La Rock. It’s all in the lips.) The mix features everyone from John Dahlbäck to Kid Sister to Gonzalez to NORE, and you can see the full tracklisting after the jump. Trizzy will be touring stateside in support of the disc, and you can check those dates – where else? – after the jump.
In other A-Trak updatery, you can try your luck at winning a limited-edition A-Trak Running Man Serato picture disc over at thefader.com, perhaps the one place on the internets that likes to say “after the jump” as much as we do. Read More

My dearest Fool’s Gold soldiers. Do you ever long for a place where it’s nothing but A-Trak blogs? (Don’t answer that, spare me the embarrassment.)
Here is my new home, a place where I will be blogging MORE THAN EVER….. times 8!
Make sure you check out the archives of all my old posts from the last 4 years. And see if you can win the super limited Fool’s Gold Air Max’s!
There’s only one place where you can do all this: djatrak.com.

Right around when A-Trak’s Running Man mix for Nike+ first dropped, he went to the Nike ID studios with our art director Dust La Rock and our pal Kesh to test out some colorways. Now you can put the fruits of their afternoon on your feet by winning these Nike ID dunks!
We have 5 pairs to give away, all you have to do is email us your name, shoe size, shipping address (no PO boxes, you gotta be able to sign for these) and phone number, and we’ll choose winners at random next week.
UPDATE: Almost 1,000 entries in a weekend, not too shabby! Congratulations to Erin McCulley of St Petersburg, Keena Carson of Newport News, Ronald Moore Jr of the Bronx, Dean Bryce of London, and Yan Philippe of Montreal!

Anyone who’s ever messaged back and forth with our dude Kid Cudi knows that his tmail game is MAJOR, texting like a Prince song title come 2 life. So it’s fitting that Cudi will be performing at a private launch event for T-Mobile next Tuesday (5/20) alongside Kid Capri and new Star Trak artists Chester French (who do not have kid in their name). You can enter to win VIP passes to the party – along with a new phone! – over at RCRD LBL.
