Brit electronic rock duo The Big Pink recently enlisted our friend Araabmuzik to remix their new single “Stay Gold” (nice title!) and lo and behold, here comes Danny Brown jumping on the track, adding verses inbetween all the chopped up MPC slaps. It’s awesome and you can download it here.
Check out the latest edition of A-Trak’s satellite radio jam, featuring a ton of new music (including the forthcoming A-Trak & Zinc collab “Stingray” and a new Lil Bo Tweak clubber, both on Fool’s Gold) as well as an intro megamix paying tribute to our dear friend DJ Mehdi.
The future funk power trio of Cubic Zirconia get together onstage and create some of the craziest, freakiest energy known to man. But did you know that translates to the DJ booth just as well? CZ synth maestro Nick Hook put together this vibe-building mix featuring tracks from their new LP Follow Your Heart (out now on Fool’s Gold) alongside deep joints from the band’s own remixography, unreleased jams and more. “Our friends laced us with some OG shit,” says Hookemon. “And people can catch up on some stuff we’ve done.” Do what the man says!
Our buddy Max Glazer commissioned a bunch of new mixes for his Federation Sound “Flatlands” riddim, including this bass-thwomping bad boy from from our own Nick Catchdubs. Download it here, and check the full collection (including an insane self-remix from Ward 21) when it lands pon iTunes tomorrow (10/18).
One of the many benefits of following Action Bronson and Party Supplies on Twitter is that alongside all the constantly entertaining, stream-of-consciousness pop culture references, you get blessed with new tracks on the regular like “Blue Chips,” a teaser off their upcoming collab album that’s nastier than a Nick Nolte mugshot. Download it here and check them both at our four-year anniversary party October 22nd. For more Bronsolino, check him talking scrimps in LA with Josh Ozersky after the jump. Read More
