Hot off his warmly received, saxed-up version of “Paper Cat,” Sammy Bananas is back with more remix treats for ya. Click here to download his take on “Ghost” by NZ’s Kidz In Space, featuring Dan Black. There is a vocal and a dub version in the zip, so go nuts.
Our man Kingdom, he of the new EP and eternally fresh fade, has a new mix up for FACT Magazine that you can download here. New originals, remixes, refixes, Remy Ma! It’s a scorcher. And will get you in the mood for shows this month in LA, Hartford, LIC, Washington DC, and good ol Brooklyn – check them all at kkingdomm.com/live.
Yee! Last week in Cali you may have seen the FG fam representing with Trackademicks at Audiotistic (he jumped onstage to perform “Enjoy What You Do” at the peak of Nick Catchdubs’ set) and The Do-Over. He’s been working on a lot of new music we’re excited to share with y’all very soon, but meanwhile here’s his latest remix, for Bay bros League510′s “To The Beat”
If that’s not enough HNRL for ya, grab DJ Tap.10′s new Made In SF mix for Made Jewelry. Says Tap, it’s a “collection of recent joints I’ve been feeling, including some Champagne Soul, Tender Knock, HNRL joints and some classic, lesser known Frisco anthems.” Here’s a handy zip file.
The Do-Over is one of the best parties in the world, an LA oasis that pops off every Sunday afternoon powered by (unannounced) guest sets from the worlds finest selectors week in and week out. FG fam have beenamong those DJs in the past, so it was only natural that since a bunch of us were out in LA for the weekend post-Audiotistic, we would come back to rock again for The Fool Over!
Hit the Do-Over blog to grab sets recorded last Sunday from A-Trak, Nick Catchdubs, Craze and (surprise!) Juan MacLean, who set it off while eating a burger.
