“OK… (take a breath) Everyone who is poor and who doesn’t have a DUI on their record best ta LISTEN UP! Every last one of y’all should know about and participate IN car sharing! It’s the best thing that’s ever happened ever in life. Instead of lugging all your heavy laundry around town through snow drifts in sub zero weather in a 90 year old babushka lady cart you can now DRIVE it to the laundromat in record time and have time left over to shop or eat or drive to your man’s house across town! No more bus stops! No more frostbite! No more devonte!!! YAY!”
Check Chicago’s sweetheart bigging up car sharing over on the MuchMusic Blog. More Canadian KS action from her recent shows in these photos and this EYE Weekly interview. The JOTS dudes promise some video from the shows soon…

Hey all, Dust La Rock’s the name, and of course, drawing shit is my game. Not sure why it took me so long to get my post on, maybe because Nick is a loveable yet intimidating blog Nazi. I probably won’t be hitting you w/ the latest Fool’s Gold release/rmx/re-something news, more like random acts of art as they relate to our wonderful record label, various mind-numbing exploits, and the occasional comic relief. So, to set it off right in the new year let me toot my own horn. Format Mag is an online lifestyle mag dealing w/ art, music, etc. Earlier this year Format did a feature on me and recently asked for my Top 10 album picks of 2007. Ch-ch-check ‘em out!

Ideally, the best hotel room # you can possibly hope for is Room 112 (where the players dwell).
But like, what hotels have rooms on the first floor? Maybe if you’re at a Comfort Inn or one of those No-Tell Motel deals you can luck out…but I digress.
The point? Check A-Trak and Kid Sister in this XLR8R TV clip about hotels in Austin during South By Southwest. There’s a guest appearance by an iron.
