This Friday (4/22) the Natural History Museum’s long-running One Step Beyond party series will feature a Chromeo DJ set and a live performance by Telephoned. Reunited and it feels so good!
Tickets are already sold out, but Telephoned are giving away guestlist slots on their Twitter. The generosity continues, as Sammy and Maggie also gifted the internets with a f-a-b-o-l-o-u-s new “cover up” that you can grab here.
Total festival destruction!!! Check this year’s Hard Summer lineup: FG fam Duck Sauce and Chromeo headlining alongside waaaaay too many homies-for-life to single out individually. You don’t wanna miss it, going down in Downtown Los Angeles on August 6th. Check hardfest.com for full details and limited discount tickets for the earlybirds. Don’t sleep!
A bunch of our friends in NYC are getting together Saturday for a Japan relief event at Tammany Hall. Go there! We’ll let them explain it:
“A Red Circle. Anyone who donates or supports gets one. It’s not only a badge of support, it’s a rally cry. We are organizing an event in NYC on Saturday 4/16/11 to bring people together; get them to donate directly to Red Cross Japan and then represent with this button. You don’t have to buy a product. There’s no ‘portion of sales’ of anything…We’re just giving those that choose to support a means of telling the world around them to do the same. With the help of our friends, we’ve amassed an incredible all-star line up of DJs to provide you with what will be a very special night. Please come out and support, have a good time and GIVE. Japan has given us so much. It’s time to give back.” Read More
Jokers Of The Scene, Nick Catchdubs and Vin Sol will be getting groovy all evening (with bud Paul Devro kicking it all off early) and the whole shebang is FREE with RSVP at danceright.net. See you there…

Treasure Fingers, Jokers Of The Scene, Kingdom, Nick Catchdubs, and our Cali cousins Classixx will be handling music duties, and there will be refreshments from Bushmills and more. A few (crazy) weeks ago we took to the highways and byways of North America for the ROAD GOLD tour, in honor of our first ever compilation album. It was a Fool’s Gold soufflé. A b-boy bouillabaisse. A motherfucking techno gumbo of epic proportions!
From city to city, Treasure Fingers, Congorock, LA Riots, Jokers Of The Scene, Nacho Lovers, Kingdom, Nick Catchdubs, Sammy Bananas and Telephoned teamed up in various combinations to rock the party. In LA we were even joined by special guests Just Blaze and Kid Sister! Party vibes were plentiful. But don’t take our word for it: peep the recap vid above, as well as some tour snapshots (and even more vids) after the jump. Read More
