Sammy and Maggie of Telephoned came up with something really special with their “Switchboard” events, which take the cover song / sample flipping vibe of their mixtapes and applies it to a club night. It’s not your average party, which is what has made the three to date so fun and memorable. They return for a fourth round on Tuesday, June 7th at Sargent in the Hotel Chantelle basement, accompanied by guests Tanlines (a “DJ & guitar set”) and dancehall heroine Queen Majesty. Don’t miss it!
To get you in the mood, Telephoned have dropped a new volume of their podcast series, featuring a live set by DJ Wonder, recorded at the last party. Jam this in your digtal tapedecks all summer (and stay tuned for Wonder’s Foolcast mix, coming soon…) Read More
