The man, the myth, Gonzales has taken up residency at Joe’s Pub this month for a series of “Piano Talk Shows” – tonight’s edition will feature our own A-Trak and a surprise guest. Will it reach the heights of his AWK piano battle? Check it out and see! And if you can’t make it to Lafayette St this evening, be sure to download Mr G’s amazing, insane new Pianist Envymixtape.
It’s that time of year again! Love is in the air, and our Chicago bros J2K and Autobot of Flosstradamus are back with the fifth edition of their yearly FlosstraPROMus. It’s going down Friday (2/12) at Lincoln Hall, get your tickets here. The guys have also put together a lil themed mix for the occasion, download here (right click + save as) and check the tracklist here.
As Billboard just announced, our friends Kidz In The Hall will be hitting the road in support of their forthcoming LP, and taking Donnis (and 88 Keys and Izza Kizza) along for the ride. Check the full “Crowd Control Tour” dates after the jump.
Boston’s new electronic music week Together is one of the best festival ideas we’ve seen in a while, a community-based series of events that’s as much about throwing great parties as building a strong local scene for all the months there isn’t a fest in town. We’re proud to have some of our own taking part – tonight you can catch Kingdom at the Nu Life party at Zuzu, and tomorrow Congorock will be putting it down alongside Klever for We The People at Estate. Plus there’s all sorts of other events going on with the likes of Untold, Justin Martin, AC Slater & Udachi, Sinden, Neon Indian, DJ Funk and many more. Check it out!
This Thursday (2/11) in Toronto, Jokers Of The Scene and Nacho Lovers will be going up against Drop The Lime and AC Slater in a showdown of epic proportions. Bass! More bass! Free admission! RSVP at Scionnation.ca/rsvp to party with the gang.
Our European Vacation Tour was a smashing success, as evidenced by the highlight reel above (soundtracked by the forthcoming Jokers Of The Scene single “Revolting Joks”). But the onstage action doesn’t end there: Red Bull Music Academy Radio recorded live sets from the last night of the tour in Paris (A-Trak, JOTS, Congorock and Arthur King), and you can listen to them here alongside great photos by Mr Mass.
