If you live in select North or South American cities, you can check Chris and Jack jamming out in your neighborhood some time this month. For instance, tonight they’re kicking things off in Santiago, Chile with Tiga, next weekend they’ll be on our home turf…they’re even going to Kansas!
If not, keep up with their adventures vicariously on the newly relaunched Bag Raiders site, and stay tuned for that forthcoming Fool’s Gold 12″, it’s a doozy. Insane remixes? Check! Rappers? Check! Ze Germans…?!??!

Recappery from our label showcase and the rest of WMC weekend coming soon!
Meanwhile check some of Bronques’ pics from the Bacardi B Live show with A-Trak, Chromeo, and Kid Sister, as well as Stones Throw’s pics from their Hella International party where the Brothers Macklovitch DJed (and Cosmo Baker met Cozmo D from Newcleus, Gaslamp Killer dropped dubstep heaters, Pase Rock styled on em, Dances With White Girls fell asleep, Catchdini proclaimed “Clipse album cuts will be to the next five years of Stones Throw WMCs what Ghostface album cuts were to the last five” and numerous other hijinks…)

The Fool’s Gold After Dark showcase in Austin last week was insane in every possible way, from the turnout (line down the block and around the corner all night!) to the tunes, as the whole roster dropped stellar sets packed with new joints and dence detonators. Even when the sound unceremoniously got cut during Mehdi’s set due to arcane Austin liquor laws, he still managed to smash it! Kid Cudi came through and surprised us with a quick set, fans and well-wishers included everyone from Clinton Sparks and Steve “Buddy” Aoki to MCs like Curren$y, Mistah FAB and Izza Kizza, and an amazing time was had by all.
Thanks to everyone at Scion, Palm Door/Beauty Bar and Red Stripe for lending a hand, and thanks to all the shutterbugs who put their pics on Flickr to make this wrapup possible, Catch lost his camera while crowdsurfing shirtless later in the week (smoove….) but the FG Flip cam made it back alive with video.
If you have more pics or video from the night, send em in! (Update: like this!) Now hit the jump for the goods! See you next year AWWWWWWstin! Read More

For this Friday’s (3.6) edition of their monthly Disorganised bash, Jokers Of The Scene team up with their Ottawa brother-in-bass DZ for an evening of tunes at Babylon that’s sure to sweatify.
If you can’t get out to the Canadian capitol in time, satisfy yourself with DZ’s “ravestep” remix of JOTS “Baggy Bottom Boys,” a favorite of Herve and countless other DJs around the globe. GO!
