New Trackademicks Tracks

Posted on Jul 11th, 2008

Want some new new from our dude in Alameda? Check out Trackademicks’ latest productions on these just-released gems from J*Davey and Platinum Pied Pipers. He produced “Valley Of Love” on J*Davey’s Beauty In Distortion/Land Of The Lost, and the remix for PPP’s new 12″ single, “On A Cloud.” There’s also a remix competition for “On A Cloud” (accapella here) but we feel pretty comfortable saying it’s gonna be hard to top the Honor Roll…

Posted on Jun 10th, 2008

I just read the history of Threadless on a plane this Sunday, and lo and behold, not two days later I wake up to find a spiffy new design by Fool’s Gold art director Dust La Rock featured on the site as one of this week’s shirts! Serendipitous to say the least. Grab your own “Headhunter” tee right here, and get more Duster-designed (Dustsigned?) garments over at the Fool’s Gold Webstore.

Kid Cudi and Jokers Of The Scene Singles Out Now!

Posted on Feb 14th, 2008

Ladies and gents! Fool’s Gold is proud to announce two new releases, the long-awaited debut singles from Kid Cudi and Jokers of the Scene. Cudi’s hypnotic “Day ‘N’ Nite” comes backed with a thumping JOTS remix along with b-side “Dat New ‘New'” while the Jokers’ own “Y’all Know The Name” features two remixes from Flosstradamus and Nacho Lovers along with their club smash “Juggle It.”

You can grab both from Turntable Lab (and other fine vinyl retailers) as well as iTunes, Juno, and pretty much everywhere else digital music is sold (we’ll update the links as the releases go live – hit us up if your preferred spot doesn’t have it, and we’ll get it figured out).

We’ll be dropping the Crookers remix of “Day ‘N’ Nite” and the William Russell remix of “Juggle It” as free promo mp3s on RCRD LBL over the next few days, so keep checking back…
