For an upcoming Reebok x Foot Locker campaign, Kid Sister re-interpreted the Jungle Brothers (and Todd Terry!) classic “I’ll House You,” with none other than Treasure Fingers on the beat. Their new version will be dropping very soon, meanwhile here’s a little promo vid about the Reebok campaign – Kidz In The Hall kicked it off a month or so ago, and B.O.B. is up next.
Our buds (wocka wocka wocka!) Flosstradamus and Thunder Horse are getting excited for their “Destination 420” party in Chicago on 4/20. Peep the teaser.

The Fool’s Gold After Dark showcase in Austin last week was insane in every possible way, from the turnout (line down the block and around the corner all night!) to the tunes, as the whole roster dropped stellar sets packed with new joints and dence detonators. Even when the sound unceremoniously got cut during Mehdi’s set due to arcane Austin liquor laws, he still managed to smash it! Kid Cudi came through and surprised us with a quick set, fans and well-wishers included everyone from Clinton Sparks and Steve “Buddy” Aoki to MCs like Curren$y, Mistah FAB and Izza Kizza, and an amazing time was had by all.
Thanks to everyone at Scion, Palm Door/Beauty Bar and Red Stripe for lending a hand, and thanks to all the shutterbugs who put their pics on Flickr to make this wrapup possible, Catch lost his camera while crowdsurfing shirtless later in the week (smoove….) but the FG Flip cam made it back alive with video.
If you have more pics or video from the night, send em in! (Update: like this!) Now hit the jump for the goods! See you next year AWWWWWWstin! Read More
While we pick up the pieces from this past weekend in Austin, check out a cool little clip (spotted at ThisIs50.com ?!?!) featuring Trackademicks going in on 6th St with Zion I, U-N-I, Balance, Mistah FAB and Exile on the beatbox.
Drum n bass is for the children!

The latest in Ms Victoria Hesketh’s series of homemade covers just happens to be a tune we released – good timing, as she’ll be DJing at “Fool’s Gold After Dark” in Austin this month, details and RSVP info up shortly…
Check this interview with Hervé speaking on his brand new Ghetto Bass compilation, which handily includes Jokers Of The Scene’s “Baggy Bottom Boys (DZ Ravestep Remix)” among its 36 tracks. You can also cop that track by itself on the digital version of JOTS Acid Bagg EP on Beatport and all other digi retailers.
