NYC! In two weeks we’re pulling up to La Marina in a yacht… come party with us at Corona’s Electric Beach on 9/1, an afternoon jam kicking off at 2pm and featuring music from Just Blaze, Athletixx (Falcons, Hoodboi, Kittens and Promnite), Nick Catchdubs, Nick Hook and TJ Mizell. It’s FREE with RSVP, we’ll see you there!
After teasing you with date and city announcements (and selling out earlybird tickets before revealing a single act), we’re psyched to release lineups for this year’s edition of FOOL’S GOLD DAY OFF events, hitting Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Miami and Austin starting August 29th.
Label founders A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs have once again curated North America’s most culturally resonant festival. Who else brings together street rap royalty Meek Mill (currently riding high with the #1 album in the country), UK grime icon Skepta and underground superstars Flatbush Zombies? Who can showcase EDM favorites Flosstradamus and Alison Wonderland alongside nu-millennial MCs D.R.A.M. and Post Malone? Top it off with fresh label signings Rome Fortune, ManMan Savage, Bosco, Leaf, Hoodboi, Falcons and Shash’U and you’ve got an eclectic and electrifying lineup, in true Fool’s Gold style.
“DAY OFF is our culture. It’s where the full scope of Fool’s Gold comes together, it’s everything we represent. It doesn’t belong to one scene or another: DAY OFF is generational. We’ve watched it grow, step by step, with pride. I can’t wait to pull some more surprises this year!” – A-Trak
Tickets for all five DAY OFF events are available now at fgdayoff.com, along with recap videos and photos from the last five years of FGDO shows, featuring Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, Run The Jewels, Juicy J, Young Thug, French Montana and many others. Read More
Sleepy Tom and Anna Lunoe’s electrifying collab “Pusher” has been lighting up festivals around the globe (and steadily climbing Shazam’s Trending charts) since it’s release early this year. We’re excited to give the song a new push (*ahem*) just in time for all your Summer party needs, backed by crazy remixes from Branchez, Jesse Slayter and Costello. Tropical breaks, uber-funky sub bass, relentless techno… we’ve got you covered! Get the remix EP on iTunes now.
Ta-ku’s acclaimed Songs To Make Up To EP dropped this June, selling out of its first blue vinyl pressing in days and rocketing up Billboard’s New Artist Chart. As Ta-ku’s soulful bass sound takes over headphones around the globe, STMUT Spotify bonus track “Down For You” feat. Alina Baraz has just been added to the full EP package on iTunes and everywhere else. Give it a spin along with a heartfelt live Boiler Room performance of “Love Again” feat. JMSN.
After joining forces for viral smashes “Run Ricky Run” and “Superflexin,” Fame School and Manolo Rose cement their rep as new NYC rap royalty with “Money Machine.” Director Kid Art (French Montana, Vinny Cha$e) provides the heist movie-inspired visuals, while the crew mobs out atop the city to their catchiest single yet… no nightclub is safe! Grab it on iTunes or stream it on Spotify!
Director Lil Internet (Beyonce, Diplo) brings his postmodern swag to “Hula Hoop,” the first music video from Brenmar’s Award EP. The Fool’s Gold party starter is joined in this uber-stylish clip by Jersey club queen UNiiQU3 and a gang of the absolute coolest dancers ever, including Guinness World Record hula hooper Marawa The Amazing. Your body won’t move the same way again… Download it on iTunes or stream on Spotify!
Fool’s Gold DAY OFF is always THE party of the year… before we announce lineups for the 2015 edition, we’re giving our biggest fans a chance to cop discounted $20 earlybird tickets while they last at fgdayoff.com. Don’t sleep!
