One of the highlights of our Day Off party this past monday was the unveiling of a new Fool’s Gold x Coke Boys collab tee. If you didn’t snag one at the show, you’re in luck – we’ve got a handful left to slang on the webstore (and, as always, our retail spot on 536 Metropolitan Ave in Brooklyn). FG and CB logos on the front, “FANUTE” done up jersey style on the back. Snag this and match it with your Versace scarf and/or A-Trak hat.
Head over to Ricky Blaze’s SoundCloud for two new free downloads: the reggae burner “Royalty” and DJ bootleg “Do The Dennis Brown.” The latter is a clubby extension of the vibe from his Crash The Party EP, out now on Fool’s Gold. Stay tuned for more Ricky news…
Two giant A-Trak collabs get the vinyl treatment, on snazzy split color clear wax to boot! Grab it now from the Fool’s Gold webstore or our retail HQ on 536 Metropolitan Ave in BK (and if you hate awesome physical products, you can still cop mp3s on iTunes, Beatport ‘n all that).
Trizzy and Dillon Francis’ ATM anthem “Money Makin’” is up first, with the wobble rap banger “Piss Test” featuring Juicy J and Danny Brown on the flipsde (complete with vinyl only acapella!) You need this one in your life, cop now (and after the jump, check some flicks of how it all came together at the vinyl pressing plant at United in Nashville). Read More
Following a blazing set at the Fool’s Gold “Night Off” afterparty this past Monday, Anna Lunoe is back for more, rocking the Hudson Terrace this evening. Go to there! RSVP here for free entry before midnight.
Ever since Crookers first burst onto the scene with their uniquely muscular, totally tweaked take on dance music, they have been a fixture in the international scene, whether remixing gigantic pop stars, collaborating with underground heroes as Dr Gonzo, or plain ol’ rocking every festival known to man with a pair of USB sticks and an appetite for destruction. For the new Bowser EP on Fool’s Gold, their first original release as Crookers in almost two years (!!!), the duo returns with a brand-new take on the chunky club cuts that made you fall in love with them in the first place. From the title track’s tear-out techno madness to the stadium buildups of “Trillex” to the atomic hip-house of “Turn The Lights On” (a collab with Philly fast rap master STS), Crookers once again redefine “bangers” in their own image. Go crazy with ‘em! Read More
Once again, the talk of the town for Labor Day weekend in NYC is our annual, free DAY OFF bash, going down this Monday, September 3rd at the City Winery Backyard. FG keeps the party going with the NIGHT OFF afterparty a few blocks over at Westway, featuring DJ sets from Brenmar, Anna Lunoe and DJ Wonder, hosted by Donnis! Read More
