A-Trak and Zinc’s massive, siren-laden raver “Stingray” gets reworked into a proper party starter thanks to dancehall star Natalie Storm. Her seductively catchy vocal turns the tune into “Like The Dancefloor,” a dirty pop anthem out next Tuesday (10/16), featuring brand new remixes from Dismantle, Shadow Child, and JWLS. Fool’s Gold is gettin’ grown! Our annual anniversary bashes are the stuff of legend, and the fifth one takes place on Saturday, October 20th as part of the ongoing Converse Rubber Tracks Live series of free concerts at Music Hall Of Williamsburg.
The showcase will feature performances from A-Trak, Flosstradamus, Nick Catchdubs, Donnis, World’s Fair, and Troy Ave (all of whom have recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio, and have music featured on our upcoming hip-hop compilation, Loosies). This Sunday (10/7) the crew hits Los Angeles for our first ever West Coast edition of DAY OFF, featuring A-Trak, Danny Brown, Chromeo (DJ Set), Cool Kids, Casey Veggies, Congorock, Oliver, Donnis, Kingdom, Nick Catchdubs and special guests.
The response to our initial Day Off LA announcement was so crazy that we hit capacity on RSVPs only a few hours later! We held some space though, and will be releasing 500 additional RSVPs on the website today at noon PST. (If you’ve already RSVPed, hold tight – venue info will be emailed to you before the event).
For three years running, our annual DAY OFF party has been THE most talked about free music event in New York. The Labor Day extravaganza has featured the likes of Juicy J, A$AP Rocky, Just Blaze, Araabmuzik and the late, great DJ Mehdi.
