Check A-Trak and a bunch of our buds in LA next weekend for Hard Haunted Mansion. Busy P & Brodinski are among said buds, and they also happened to put together a promo mix for the party (featuring Duke Dumont’s awesome “Thudding Like Elmer” remix of LA Riots’ “The Drop,” out now on FG) that you should download immediately.
If that’s not enough seasonal revelry for ya, check Chromeo, Trizzy, Kid Sister and Theophilus London in Chicago for “Freaky Deaky 2” at the Congress Theatre in Chicago on Oct 30th. As Jim Jones might say: SPOOKY!

Like we always do at this time…
Come celebrate three years of Fool’s Gold next weekend as we close out the Pitchfork #Offline festival at Brooklyn Bowl with an evening of anniversary revelry starring our friends and fam new and old: A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, Donnis, CyHi Da Prynce, The Suzan, Kingdom and even Araabmuzik on the MPC. Not to be missed!
It all goes down on Saturday, October 23rd – just in time for the release of the compilation album and The Suzan’s Golden Week For The Poco Poco Beat two days later – and all info on tickets (just $10!) and the rest of the fest can be found on the #Offline website.

Just because A-Trak has become an international dance superstar doesn’t mean he can’t throw down pure hip-hop bangers with the best of them. So for his contribution to Fool’s Gold Vol 1, Trizzy goes straight for the subwoofers with “Ray Ban Vision,” enlisting G.O.O.D. Music upstart CyHi Da Prynce (who you last heard stealing the show on Kanye’s “So Appalled”) to drop extra-fly couplets on top of all the scratched-in synths and atomic kick drums. Grab it at RCRD LBL and check for the rest of our comp when it drops on 10/25.
For more CyHi, download his new Royal Flush mixtape, which also premiered today.

As you may have seen on Pitchfork today, our first-ever compilation LP, Fool’s Gold Vol 1 is making its way to you fine people of planet Earth on October 25th (same day as The Suzan LP – they both got bumped to Monday cause of Taylor Swift. Good looking out ma!)
The 14 new tracks on Fool’s Gold Vol 1 are a 3-D look at where FG has been and where we’re going next. “Ray Ban Vision,” A-Trak’s robot-rocking collab with G.O.O.D. Music upstart CyHi Da Prynce, sits comfortably next to Treasure Fingers’ joyous dance pop throwback “Keep Up” and The Suzan’s rollicking cover of Miike Snow’s “Animal,” along with new tracks from other exciting, constantly-evolving talents like Kingdom, Flosstradamus, and even Lil B, who teases his forthcoming EP with the #based bass of “Freeze.”
You will be able to download Vol 1 from all fine music retailers, as well as purchase a limited-edition CD copy (and other FG treats) at Opening Ceremony boutiques worldwide. We are immensely proud to share these new tracks from our family with all of you!
Check the full tracklisting after the jump and stay tuned. Read More

As you saw in the video for “Barbra Streisand,” our inaugural Day Off party on Labor Day in NYC was beyond crazy. Guest raps from Yelawolf, Pill and Donnis, DJ sets from The Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak & Dave1), Just Blaze, the Slow Roast crew (Craze, Klever & Kill The Noise) and Nick Catchdubs, and a live performance by The Suzan…the whole fam put it down!
Check this recap video by Yours Truly to share all the Day Off vibes, from beats to burgers to Mr Goldbar busting out his finest dance moves (they also got full songs from Yelawolf, The Suzan and Donnis). There were a bunch of other photographers and party professionals there to capture us at our best: check these shots from Mel Cole / Village Slum (here and here), Metromix, Kirill Was Here, Nicky Digital, Hi Fi Cartel, LTD Mag, Bongo Boy (with a Yelawolf interview too), iNime, Mr Mort’s favorite crowd looks, a bunch of YouTubes from br0nxr0yaltii, Slow Roast-ed footage from Tim Nolan, OkayPlayer vid and some pics and video from Dante Ross. If you’ve got more shots or footage, leave them in the comments!
Thanks to the crew at City Winery and all our production / promotion partners Scion, Jelly NYC, The FADER, LTD+, and Bushmills, all the FG soopa interns, and a giant Mr Goldbar bear hug to FG homegirl Dnyce for all her help behind the scenes. We’ll be back with more parties very soon! After the jump, some of our favorite Day Off moments. Read More

The K.L.A.M. guys just sent over a new treat for us to share with you in the form of “138 Shakedown,” their cheeky cut-up of A-Trak and Laidback Luke’s FG jam “Shake It Down” and DJ Zinc’s hype anthem “138 Trek.” Boom goes the dynamite! Download it here.
For more K.L.A.M. goodies, be sure to grab their Fool’s Gold single “Funky 4,” featuring two new originals and remixes of the title track from Hot City and the Martin Brothers that have quickly become DJ favorites. It’s available now on Beatport, iTunes and all other digital retailers.
If you were among the revelers at Isle of Wight’s Bestival earlier this month, you certainly heard all these tunes setting it off; hit the jump to check some video from K.L.A.M.’s set, including BBC DJ Zane Lowe raving out to Prodigy’s “Out Of Space.” Read More
