A-Trak and Tommy Trash’s funk phenomenon “Lose My Mind” gets a high-powered remix courtesy of OWSLA-approved upstart Mija. She stays true to the original track’s feel-good strut (and cowbell!) while adding her own supercharged thump and awesome vocal chops, making this mix an absolute must-have for dance freaks and party people worldwide.
A-Trak and Tommy Trash “Lose My Mind” might be the funkiest track FG’s ever released. But did you know that French production hero Alex Gopher was the song’s secret weapon mix engineer? It’s a musical tidbit the guys are understandably proud of – and to help share it with you, Trizzy hit up the man himself for a little background on his musical roots, favorite synths, mixdown tricks and more. (For even more FG x AG action, peep his remix work on Kid Sister’s “Get Fresh” single from back in ’08.) Read on! Read More

With their massive DAY OFF NYC show only a few days away, Fool’s Gold founders A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs take PYRITE RADIO to a new level of jams and jokes. The duo hit FG’s Brooklyn store to tackle society’s pressing issues: bootleg Seinfeld merch, LA dating, Gucci Mane’s pantry, whether or not The Killers were any good, stealing snacks from will.i.am, and of course, Juicero™. Tune in and get loose. (Shout to Pedro on the vibes and Ysa Perez on the snaps!)
A-Trak has teamed back up with Tommy Trash for “Lose My Mind,” a feel-good, satin jacket jam for our crazy times. These DJ heroes have slowed down the tempo and turned up the bump, ticking all boxes for “joy” in the process: distorted bass riffs, vintage vocals, and a Travolta-worthy disco strut. No straight jacket required!
Brooklyn’s own Fool’s Gold Records takes their annual DAY OFF extravaganza cross country once again, closing out this year’s series of festival events with an all-day party on Sunday, September 25th at Shrine LA Outdoors.
Mac Miller headlines his first Los Angeles show of the year alongside G.O.O.D. Music president (and Clipse legend) Pusha T and FG’s own A-Trak, who’s hitting the decks with an “…and friends” guestlist that always amazes. DAY OFF LA will also feature upstart ATL phenom MADEINTYO, Fool’s Gold’s buzzy young R&B star Black Atlass, and the label’s resident DJ killers Madeaux, Kittens and Nick Catchdubs. And of course, you know it wouldn’t be a DAY OFF without a gang of surprises on deck…
This LA event caps a massive summer of DAY OFF shows for Fool’s Gold, including a New York event at the 34th St Helipad on 8/20 headlined by Migos and Juelz Santana, and a Miami blowout at Soho Studios on 9/17 with Joey Bada$$ and Hudson Mohawke topping a full day of performances from FG signees and some of the world’s most exciting new DJs and MCs. Advance tickets for all three DAY OFF events are available now at fgdayoff.com.
