"Loosies" Out December 18th!

The wait is over! Fool’s Gold’s inaugural rap compilation Loosies drops December 18th, featuring 22 new tracks curated by label founders A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs. The new music from FG family and friends around the country includes an insane “Piss Test” remix with Jim Jones, Flatbush Zombies, El-P and Flosstradamus, a new Casey Veggies / Chuck Inglish collab (watch the video above), tracks from our own Danny Brown, GrandeMarshall, Donnis, Party Supplies and much, much more – peep the entire tracklist after the jump!

Loosies will be available digitally from all retailers on 12/18, as well as on a limited edition cigarette-shaped USB drive direct from store.foolsgoldrecs.com and select stores. The package will also include a continuous DJ mix of all 22 songs from A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs. Read More

Electric Zoo ’12 Recap

The hometown edition of our series of festival stages went down at Electric Zoo on Friday, 8/31 and was another one for the books! HARD Summer ’12 Recap

The resulting jam, “Molly Ringwald,” can be heard in the above video, and will also be available on a limited-edition Songs From Scratch 7″ (with a song from Joey Bada$$ on the flipside) as well as the forthcoming Fool’s Gold rap compilation Loosies. We’re excited to announce the FOOL’S GOLD CLUBHOUSE series of festival events and more, with a Clubhouse stage at HARD Summer in Los Angeles the first to be unveiled. Curated by label heads A-Trak & Nick Catchdubs, the Clubhouse will include some of the most exciting names from the FG roster, extended fam, and beyond.

Like the last one, only bigger and crazier, it was an amazing day and night, featuring performances from Juicy J, Danny Brown, the Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak and Dave1), Just Blaze, Cubic Zirconia, Party Supplies, Nick Catchdubs and very special guests ASAP Rocky and DJ Mehdi.
