The Texan bass duo Bames just released their genre bending edit of The Weeknd for free download. It is yet another production that proves that these guys know how to twist our minds into a whole new level. Grab their debut DRTY BWTY EP now and continue dive deeper into the bass.
One of the most unique records we dropped all year was the unclassifiable DRTY BWTY EP by Bames. Banging yet dreamy, it’s a record that’s as tripped out as it is trapped out, and we’re very excited to hear what these Texas boys come up with for their next release. Our friends at Potato just premiered the new video for Bames “DRTY BWTY” (off their bass-tastic Fool’s Gold EP of the same name, out now on iTunes, Beatport and alladat). The combination of Bames’ wavy instrumental and director Josh Wehle’s bodybuilder footage is hypnotic to say the least… get pumped. Read More
The annual Fool’s Gold Austin extravaganza keeps getting bigger and better! Check out what went down at our official SXSW showcase, our after-hours bash with A$AP Yams at the Illmore, the mega-label Super Party team-up with Mad Decent and Check Yo Ponytail, and more (including Danny Brown proudly accepting an mtvU Video Of The Year Woodie!) in this official recap video.
Them Texas boys known as Bames have been whipping up a serious buzz ever since the release of their debut DRTY BWTY EP on Fool’s Gold a few weeks back. They kicked off our SXSW showcase with a fiery set of low-riding bass smashers and tripped out synth blasts… but why throw around adjectives when we can just give you a mix?
Are you up on Bames? These two beatmakin’ Texas boys are the newest addition to the Fool’s Gold league of superheroes, coming out swinging with their debut EP DRTY BWTY. Grab it now on iTunes, Beatport and everywhere else fine digital music is sold.
Meet Bames: two Texans barely out of their teens, BBQing beat symphonies out of clattering percussion, drunken laser synths, and genuinely disrespectful levels of low-end whomp. DRTY BWTY is their beast of a debut EP, out today on iTunes, Beatport and all other fine digital music services.
