Karma Kid & Luke Fono – BOSSA

Posted on Nov 12th, 2021

Karma Kid and Luke Fono have been pushing UK dance sounds forward for a decade, with anthemic cuts like Fono’s “Real Joy” (championed by Annie Mac, The Magician and Calvin Harris) and KK’s in-demand remixes (spanning hitmakers from Dua Lipa to Duke Dumont) never leaving the USBs of your favorite DJs. On their debut Fool’s Gold EP BOSSA, the duo combine forces to go even harder, deeper and weirder: “Life Of The Party” enlists NYC icon Cakes da Killa for a crazy catwalk stomper, “Soul Seeker” brings ecstatic afterparty vibes, and the insanely energetic title track stretches tribal house sounds into unclassifiable new forms.
