After the speaker-smashing madness of remix, we’re proud to bring you “Darko,” the latest single from Cubic Zirconia to get the club treatment courtesy some of our favorite DJs and producers. Hit Beatport this Tuesday (7/10) to grab Tommy Trash’s epic festival version (perhaps you heard a snippet?) alongside TWO awesome mixes from Tony Senghore, and CZ’s propulsive, hypnotic original (with bonus instrumental and accapella versions to boot).

We don’t hand out accapellas all willy nilly over here at FG. So when we do, you better grab that shit and have fun with it!

Case in point: the single for Cubic Zirconia’s “Take Me High” comes backed with a vocal-only track, so Brooklyn’s GRVRBBRS decided to grab it and whip up a version of their very own. These guys love disco as much as they hate vowels, and laid Tiombe Lockhart’s vocals over a bed of wickawicka guitars and hi-hats galore. Check it out:

Fool’s Gold SXSW '12 Recap

A few weeks ago we ran through Austin for two mega parties during SXSW: a label showcase at the brand new Beauty Ballroom, and a team-up Super Party with Mad Decent and Check Yo Ponytail that took over BB as well as the giant Emo’s East down the street. Suffice it to say… shit got live!

From A$AP (and Sammy Bananas!) stagedives to A-Trak’s big-room scratchery, these were parties none of us will forget. Fool’s Gold Coachella Day Party This Sunday: A-Trak, Flying Lotus, Danny Brown + More!

It’s going down this Sunday, April 15th as part of the Hard Rock Hotel’s Music Mansion.
