DAY OFF LA Lineup + Venues Announced

Posted on Jul 14th, 2016

Brooklyn’s own Fool’s Gold Records takes their annual DAY OFF extravaganza cross country once again, closing out this year’s series of festival events with an all-day party on Sunday, September 25th at Shrine LA Outdoors.

Mac Miller headlines his first Los Angeles show of the year alongside G.O.O.D. Music president (and Clipse legend) Pusha T and FG’s own A-Trak, who’s hitting the decks with an “…and friends” guestlist that always amazes. DAY OFF LA will also feature upstart ATL phenom MADEINTYO, Fool’s Gold’s buzzy young R&B star Black Atlass, and the label’s resident DJ killers Madeaux, Kittens and Nick Catchdubs. And of course, you know it wouldn’t be a DAY OFF without a gang of surprises on deck…

This LA event caps a massive summer of DAY OFF shows for Fool’s Gold, including a New York event at the 34th St Helipad on 8/20 headlined by Migos and Juelz Santana, and a Miami blowout at Soho Studios on 9/17 with Joey Bada$$ and Hudson Mohawke topping a full day of performances from FG signees and some of the world’s most exciting new DJs and MCs. Advance tickets for all three DAY OFF events are available now at fgdayoff.com.

Fool’s Gold Day Off 2016 NY Lineup

Posted on Jun 9th, 2016

Fool’s Gold’s annual DAY OFF is an end-of-summer institution. For seven years running, the all-day event has become a celebration of everything the beloved, genre-crossing Brooklyn label stands for— a musical slip ’n slide, connecting the city’s livest, most stylish fans and and a Who’s Who of new-school legends. DAY OFF is a scene in the truest sense of the word, a festival programmed like your favorite DJ set.

Who’s rocking the 2016 edition? Atlanta’s royalty Migos and rap anarchist Lil Yachty. Two generations of Harlem kings in Dipset legend Juelz Santana and rising star Dave East. FG chief A-Trak setting it off as a maestro behind the decks (and a conductor of special guests like none other), and fellow turntablist Gaslamp Killer providing his signature psychedelic bass. With label familia Nick Catchdubs, Meyhem Lauren, Leaf and more keeping the party going all day long, it’s another can’t-miss Fool’s Gold event.

It goes down on Saturday, August 20th in Brooklyn. Tickets for FGDO NY are available now at fgdayoff.com — earlybird tickets for FGDO Miami (9/17) and Los Angeles (9/25) go on sale this Friday at 1pm EST.
