For the inaugural edition of Scion A/V’s music video series, Fool’s Gold represented with Congorock’s “Babylon.”. Their newest batch of videos hits iTunes next week, featuring a brand-new clip for Kingdom’s “Mind Reader,” directed by Kari Altmann (aka blackmoth.org).
Kingdom and Kari have worked together on numerous live visuals and other graphic projects in the past, so it was only natural that they would come together to forge an impressionistic world for “Mind Reader.” The fractured visuals of their collaboration turn nightclub flashes into a moody, mystic vortex, and provide a perfect counterpoint to the hyperkinetic synth riffs and soaring diva vocals of Shyvonne.
“Mind Reader” will also be airing on MTV2, starting with a premier July 8th at 8pm EST. To preview the other Scion A/V videos in the series, check this trailer. And of course, pick up Kingdom’s “Mind Reader” single on alldigitaloutlets and vinyl 12″!
