They thank their fans for the support and emphasize “don’t be sad!” with a brand new mix featuring tracks from their Fool’s Gold EP, Bowser, and other fresh heatrocks.

ATL got a heavy dose of EDM when the first annual CounterPoint festival came to town. We put our own spin on it with Fool’s Gold very own stage, featuring A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, Oliver and Nick Catchdubs doing their thing while Donnis MCed through the night. Check out the recap vid above and some pics after the jump (more galleries on the CP Facebook and at The Untz). Read More
Tomorrow night (10/17) check FG’s own Nick Catchdubs, Slow Roast commando Codes, and our extended fam JWLS, Mr MFN Exquire, Jim-E Stack, Baauer, Kilo Kish and Samo Sound Boy at the AM Only CMJ Showcase at Drom on Avenue A in NYC. It’s a big one!
Fool’s Gold is gettin’ grown! Our annual anniversary bashes are the stuff of legend, and the fifth one takes place on Saturday, October 20th as part of the ongoing Converse Rubber Tracks Live series of free concerts at Music Hall Of Williamsburg.
The showcase will feature performances from A-Trak, Flosstradamus, Nick Catchdubs, Donnis, World’s Fair, and Troy Ave (all of whom have recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio, and have music featured on our upcoming hip-hop compilation, Loosies). And in true Fool’s Gold fashion, the night will be headlined by rap iconoclast Ghostface Killah. WHAT?!?!? It’s another can’t-miss night out with music’s golden boys…. we’ll see you there! Read More
Grab this slinky new mix from Catchdini featuring “robo R&B, slow bass, psych breaks, turnt up ballads (dare I say ‘tender trap’?!?) and other funky joints to float around to this fall” on his Soundcloud.
This Sunday (10/7) the crew hits Los Angeles for our first ever West Coast edition of DAY OFF, featuring A-Trak, Danny Brown, Chromeo (DJ Set), Cool Kids, Casey Veggies, Congorock, Oliver, Donnis, Kingdom, Nick Catchdubs and special guests.
The response to our initial Day Off LA announcement was so crazy that we hit capacity on RSVPs only a few hours later! We held some space though, and will be releasing 500 additional RSVPs on the website today at noon PST. (If you’ve already RSVPed, hold tight – venue info will be emailed to you before the event).
For three years running, our annual DAY OFF party has been THE most talked about free music event in New York. The Labor Day extravaganza has featured the likes of Juicy J, A$AP Rocky, Just Blaze, Araabmuzik and the late, great DJ Mehdi. This year’s party was raved about by the New York Times, Village Voice, Pitchfork and countless others. So it’s only right that we transport our hometown insanity to the West Coast for the first-ever Los Angeles DAY OFF on Sunday, October 7th!
Highlights of Cali’s inaugural DAY OFF lineup include performances from FG capo A-Trak and the label’s reigning rap hero Danny Brown, a special DJ set from world class funksters Chromeo, longtime homies and 808 kings the Cool Kids, LA favorite Casey Veggies, and many more of Fool’s Gold’s illustrious artists, including Congorock, Oliver, Donnis, Kingdom, Nick Catchdubs, and special guests. You do not want to miss this one!
Party people and late night creepers, come kick it with Donnis and Nick Catchdubs tonight at WIP (34 Vandam St), where Catch will be spinning tunes and Donnis will be performing tracks off his Break Hundreds & Hearts EP, out now!
