We celebrated three years of Fool’s Gold by closing out Pitchfork #Offline at Brooklyn Bowl on Saturday, October 23rd 2010. It was a crazy evening of anniversary revelry, starring our friends and fam new and old: A-Trak, Treasure Fingers, Donnis, CyHi Da Prynce, The Suzan, Kingdom, Araabmuzik on the MPC, and guest appearances by GZA of the Wu Tang Clan and this Kanye West fellow you might have heard of. Flashing Lights, the monthly dance party thrown by FG’s Nick Catchdubs, DJ Ayres and Jubilee, turns two this Friday (10/8) at Public Assembly in Brooklyn. FL has hosted many Fool’s Gold guests over the past two years, and this one is no exception: Nacho Lovers will be crossing the border to house up the birthday vibes, joined by fellow Torontonian Grahmzilla, who will be tag-teaming with Jubilee as part of their group, Bassanovva. The two have put together a mix of originals, remixes and other fresh tracks to get you excited for the party, including the Nacho Lovers remix of forthcoming Bassanovva single “Terrordactyl” on Sinden’s Grizzly imprint. It’s a family affair!

Thanks to the crew at City Winery and all our production / promotion partners Scion, Jelly NYC, The FADER, LTD+, and Bushmills, all the FG soopa interns, and a giant Mr Goldbar bear hug to FG homegirl Dnyce for all her help behind the scenes. We’ll be back with more parties very soon! After the jump, some of our favorite Day Off moments. Read More
