Posted on Sep 2nd, 2008

My latest mixtape, long in the making. In case you can’t tell, it’s an all-alt rock affair. Physical promo copies are going out to all Mishka retail accounts w/ their fall orders, and it’s free for everyone on the interweb as of this morning.

New Nick Catchdubs Mixes

Posted on Jul 29th, 2008

Two new free mixes from yours truly have dropped over the past few days.

First up is Slick, a bunch of uptempo tracks i’ve been playing lately (and morphs into some dubstep shit and weird rap at the end). Grab it and check the Q&A and track explanations over at Trash Menagerie.

Brand new as of this morning is Kizzaland, the debut mixtape I put together for Timbaland’s new artist Izza Kizza. Just sent an email to my boy calling it “country rap tunes…in space,” which sounds about right. Goes everywhere from abstract clubby shit to intensely personal, funny/sad storytelling – download and give it a listen! UPDATE: old zShare went dead, here’s a new link.

Wale x Nick Catchdubs "The Mixtape About Nothing"

Posted on May 30th, 2008

DC’s Wale and FG’s Nick Catchdubs just dropped The Mixtape About Nothing today, and you can download it for free (part 1 and part 2) or get a physical copy bundled with a limited-edition 10.Deep “Serenity Now” shirt. Don’t take the Seinfeld theme too literally though, it’s definitely Wale’s De La Soul Is Dead moment: “If you love substance, you love Wale/ But most niggas love nothing, so I made this tape.”
