Check out Trackademicks live at Mezzanine in SF this Saturday for the Download 2008 Afterparty with our brothers Flosstradamus and the tracksuited gents of Datarock. Also give a listen to this recent episode of DJ Jamad’s Sirius Satellite radio show featuring a slew of Trackademicks productions (and exclusive debuts!), as well as his remix of Joe Jackson’s “Steppin Out” on the limited-edition Little Brother side project Zo and Tigallo Love The 80s!

Want some new new from our dude in Alameda? Check out Trackademicks’ latest productions on these just-released gems from J*Davey and Platinum Pied Pipers. He produced “Valley Of Love” on J*Davey’s Beauty In Distortion/Land Of The Lost, and the remix for PPP’s new 12″ single, “On A Cloud.” There’s also a remix competition for “On A Cloud” (accapella here) but we feel pretty comfortable saying it’s gonna be hard to top the Honor Roll…

What’s been up with space-age slapatician and Fool’s Gold’s resident East Bay representer Trackademicks? Earlier this month, he dropped the second volume of his Remixtape series, which you can download here while reading track-by-track (hiyo!) commentary from the producer himself over on the Trackademia blog. Want more? Dude’s handiwork is all over the new Lyrics Born album, which dropped this past Tuesday. And guess what! Last week also saw Track (and the Honor Roll crew) rocking with us at the SF stop of the Fool’s Gold x Dim Mak tour, video of which is watchable over here. Yee! Check for Track’s “Enjoy What You Do” single (backed with some big remixes as well as b-side banger “Topsidin”) out on your favorite gold-plated independent record label later this summer.
