We celebrated six years of Fool’s Gold-ing with another legendary anniversary celebration last month, bringing a gang of friends and fam deep into Brooklyn to rock at SRB. The one and only Juvenile shut it down in true Nolia fashion, alongside Bodega Bamz (with Flatbush Zombies and some awesome PR / DR flags), World’s Fair, Brenmar, Nick Catchdubs, Party Supplies, GrandeMarshall, High Klassified, and surprise guests YG, Chinx Drugz and Rich Da Kid. Huge! Watch the recap video above and check out some photo galleries from Le Panda, Mel D Cole, Frank151 and Village Voice (some of our favorites after the jump). And while you’re at it, relive the night with a limited-edition 6 Year Anniversary tee, featuring Nick Gazin’s hysterical flyer art and the whole lineup on the back. Read More

Queens rap collective World’s Fair kick holes in speakers worldwide with their debut album Bastards Of The Party, available now for free download at foolsgoldrecs.com/worldsfair.
The album is a futuristic boom-bap collage from six truly unique crew MCs, seamlessly weaving party-crushing cuts like “B.O.T.P.” and “Get Out” alongside raw-nerve confessionals, late night rollers and straight up BARS. From the anthemic “96 Knicks” to the introspective closer “Blacklisted,” Bastards Of The Party is a self-assured, infinitely listenable mission statement heralding World’s Fair’s arrival as the new New York crew to watch.

Now on our fourth consecutive Labor Day, Fool’s Gold’s annual Day Off extravaganza is going to make history with our biggest lineup to date. Day Off unites the upper echelons of hip hop and electronic music in true New York style, including a rare appearance by hit makers Duck Sauce, FG’s own rap superstar Danny Brown, cult heroes A$AP Ferg and Migos and the critically acclaimed Run The Jewels (El-P and Killer Mike), alongside mysterious electro supergroup Unibros, label mainstays World’s Fair, GrandeMarshall, Party Supplies and Nick Catchdubs, streetwear dons #BEEN #TRILL, and more.
Having outgrown its previous Soho venue, the FREE bona fide festival is now planting its flag in the label’s own backyard at Williamsburg Park. If you’ve attended DAY OFF in previous years and turned up with the likes of Juicy J, French Montana, DJ Mehdi, Flatbush Zombies, Yelawolf and Chromeo, you’ll know this is the best way to end your summer (and the only way to enjoy a Monday).
The party doesn’t end there: the official NIGHT OFF afterparty will be just down the street at Brooklyn Bowl, starting at 11pm. Stay tuned for more announcements as Fool’s Gold expands the DAY OFF franchise to 3 more cities this fall!
RSVP now at foolsgoldrecs.com/dayoff and stay tuned for more…
