Rappin Ass Thursdays #27

Lots of schmoove shit this week from Gucci and Rawse, Snoop, Kardinal Offishall and Kidz In The Hall.
Gucci Mane f. Rick Ross “All About The Money” [mp3]
Even on other people’s albums, Rawse still gets the best beats. This is Drumma Boy’s magnum opus. Chord changes you bitches!
Snoop Dogg f. Lil Jon “1800” [mp3]
Snoop Dogg “Ridaman” [mp3]
Thank god for all those jerkin kids, because it means Lil Jon can hop out of Vegas mode and make 100bpm SLAPS again. This is one of my favorites off the new Snoop, which, if you took out all the R&B features besides Kokane and R Kelly (PS – goddamn that’s a combo!) would be a surprise top 5 rap album contender on these year-end lists. Replace em with perfect throwback stuff like “Ridaman,” which ended up relegated to Snoop’s pre-album mixtape.
Kardinal Offishall “We Gon Go” [mp3]
More grown man records. Stepper rap! Produced by Supa Dave West, who dropped a great (and apparently ungoogleable) compilation that Mr Ducker put me onto a few years ago called The Dice Roll, featuring all his songs for major label albums that never saw official release. E-40, Yummy Bingham, even Bleek sounds dope – dig for it.
Kidz In The Hall “Life I Know” [mp3]
Track 12 off the new Kidz In The Hall tape. Who knew Double 0’s rap voice sounds so much like Greg Nice?
