New York based Australian producer BRUX likes big loud drums. She even named one of the songs on her new EP “Big Kick Energy.” The hardware and drum machine expert met A-Trak — who also likes big loud drums — at The Lot, which led to the Gravy EP getting signed to Fool’s Gold and now we can all enjoy these fun, bombastic club tracks. “Embers” is an immediate standout, while the title track “Gravy” features Baltimore legend TT The Arist. BRUX expertly grabs elements of many generations of dance music and creates a digest that is uniquely hers.
