This has been floating around for a hot second, and while we were waiting to get a better quality mp3 of this to share with y’all, we can wait no longer. The story is that Mr 305 heard “Day ‘N’ Nite,” got super into it (“I love this record, dog…”) and decided to throw a freestyle of his own at the beginning. Toma! Download it here (right-click and save-as).
Also: congrats to Ursula Mann and Ashley Jordan, who won tickets to tonight’s Kid Cudi show @ Knitting Factory in NYC. Even if you didn’t snag the freebies, come through anyway, it’s gonna be a fun one. (Now with open bar 9-10, says the Knit!)

We alluded to it back in March, now Pitchfork is officially spilling the beans about Running Man, A-Trak’s take on Nike+’s successful series of original workout jamz from the likes of LCD Soundsystem and other upstanding citizens. Running Man features 45 minutes of original music (and serves as A-Trak’s full-length production debut), Kid Cudi pops up for a guest spot, Dust provides exclusive digital booklet illustrations, and you can cop the whole thing on iTunes on June 24th.

Anyone who’s ever messaged back and forth with our dude Kid Cudi knows that his tmail game is MAJOR, texting like a Prince song title come 2 life. So it’s fitting that Cudi will be performing at a private launch event for T-Mobile next Tuesday (5/20) alongside Kid Capri and new Star Trak artists Chester French (who do not have kid in their name). You can enter to win VIP passes to the party – along with a new phone! – over at RCRD LBL.
