Fool’s Gold’s latest Artist Series collaboration is with New York’s own Snoeman. The mixed media artist’s bright, playful lettering has been seen all around the city in recent years, from neighborhood bodegas and storefronts to galleries. This isn’t FG’s first time linking with Snoe — in 2013 the two collectives joined forces for a Smart Fools capsule and art show.
The Fool’s Gold x Snoeman pieces are soundtracked by an exclusive mixtape by local legend DJ Soul, who crafted an ode to the Big Apple featuring ultra rare jams and unreleased demos by the likes of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, The Notorious B.I.G. and Nas, as well as as classic party records by Kenny Dope and Armand Van Helden.
