The latest Foolcast comes from New York City’s own Eli Escobar in the form of “Find A Friend.” This hour-long mix is a collection of unreleased disco edits from Eli’s personal, handmade stash. Says Eli: “I’m gonna leave off a tracklist only cause I like people to not know what’s coming next, I feel like it makes it more fun for the listener…” Dig in and dance, people!
Continuing the tradition of value-minded year end round-ups, we just dropped another “Holiday Bass” playlist on iTunes, featuring some of our ‘evvyest chunes of 2010 for just $3.99. Drop some pennies and crank the volume on tracks from electronic music’s leading lights.

Jokers Of The Scene recently made Toronto their home, and to celebrate the move (and the release of their “Joking Victim” single, of course) they’re taking you on a journey this Saturday at The Social, with none other than Andrew Ross of Nacho Lovers on board as co-pilot of this technotheque.
This Thursday (12/9) in Toronto, Nacho Lovers are getting together with some like-minded buds for a “cottage disco theme party” at Cabin Five. Not quite sure what that means, but 100% convinced that you should not miss it.
The latest edition of the long-running White Light mix series comes from none other than Nacho Lovers. Sayeth NL: “You could say what strings this mix together is a general feeling of analogue warmth. Moments of dancefloor euphoria spread within a framework of late-night driving music. Music for dark and empty highways and red-lit basement parties, alike.” Download and space out now.
The debut EP from Bassanovva (aka our Toronto / BK friends Grahmzilla and Jubilee) is out today on Sinden’s Grizzly imprint. Along with the bubbly originals, FG’s Nacho Lovers and Greenmoney provide ace remixes of “Terrordactyl,” and other folks like Munchi and Sammo Sound Boy get in on the action as well. Coppeth!
