JOTS just whipped up a mix of recent favorites (including their own just-released “Killing Jokes III”) for Beatport. Check it out! And if you’re in Toronto tonight, party with the guys as they drop tracks alongside fellow local talents Nautiluss, St Mandrew, Andrew Ross (Nacho Lovers) and more for the inaugural Neighbourhood Watch party at Parts & Labour.
Spin Magazine just premiered “Bang!”, the onomatopoetic club smasher (and debut single!) from LA’s Carnage, out on Fool’s Gold next Tuesday, 11/13.
The soundtrack for RZA’s directorial debut The Man With The Iron Fists is an appropriately star-studded affair, featuring a gang of rap icons including our own Danny Brown, who closes out the epic “Tick, Tock” as only he can. Check it out and get the soundtrack (in various deluxe digital and physical formats) right here.
Danny Brown and The Streets? Why certainly! Check out this collab from Mike Skinner’s new project, The D.O.T.
Danny Brown’s collaboration with dynamic duo Evil Nine, “The Black Brad Pitt” is out now on Brodinski’s eponymous Bromance imprint. Check it out on iTunes, Beatport and all other digital retailers, backed by a crazy Gesaffelstein remix and great artwork from Jean André.
(For even more Danny / Brodi, check out B’s exclusive remix of “Die Like A Rockstar,” available to everyone who joins our drip.fm subscription service, The Goldmine.)
Tune into Boiler Room tonight to see Danny perform live with Lunice and the Livin Proof DJs. Suffice it to say… there will be #style. It starts at 7pm UK time (3pm in NYC) and you can watch it all at boilerroom.tv/live.
He’ll also be rocking XOYO in London tonight with Darq E Freaker, then Paris Social Club tomorrow and Amsterdam’s Applesap festival Sunday.
If you ever wanted to see DJ Booth and Chameleonic in pixel form chopping at each other with death defying martial arts moves… well, keep dreaming on that one. But the next best thing is JOTS taking on the closing theme of the new Tekken video game, and turning it into an 8+ minute excursion into beautifully chill house music. Stream it on their Soundcloud.
