Check this interview with Hervé speaking on his brand new Ghetto Bass compilation, which handily includes Jokers Of The Scene’s “Baggy Bottom Boys (DZ Ravestep Remix)” among its 36 tracks. You can also cop that track by itself on the digital version of JOTS Acid Bagg EP on Beatport and all other digi retailers.
Many props to our boys in Simian Mobile Disco for this enjoyable new video, courtesy of Kate Moross and Bok Bok. Opposite props for making us worry lots about the eye doctor.
Grab the SMD remix of Kid Sister’s “Pro Nails” (secret heatrock!) on vinyl now at Turntable Lab. That track and the rest of the Kid Sister remix 12″ will be available digitally for the first time at Beatport on 3/3 – along with some new KS jams! – so stay tuned for more info.
The fourth-annual Flosstradamus prom – FLOSSTRAPROMUS, duh – is going down on Valentines’ Day (Sat Feb 14th) at the Abbey Pub in Chicago. Check out their commercial (courtesy of Thunder Horse, who put together video loops for all the past Fool’s Gold tours) for a taste of what’s in store, and get more show details on the Facebook event page. Also go find somebody and be in love!
Remember Trizzy’s Playboy DJ lessons? This is the video of that. In other bunny news, the March issue of the mag (Aubrey O’Day cover, hi Diddy) includes a “Rock The Rabbit” feature, showcasing Playboy-related artwork from various music luminaries including our own esteemed art director Dust La Rock. Now you can really buy it for the articles!
Flosstradamus’ collaboration with Chairlift’s Caroline Polacheck for Green Label Sound, “Big Bills,” now has it’s very own music video. Veddy veddy new wave-y, dudes! Check for remixes from Jokers Of The Scene and more coming soon…
The latest Fader diary features the last days of the Australia festival tour, Shark Week, and a hotel review! Check it out…
