Catch him at the Cul N Sweet party in Austin this Saturday (6.21) at Orchid, followed by a show next Saturday at the Drake Hotel in Toronto (with Eli Escobar and Fistfight from Nacho Lovers upstairs!), some LA gigs, and more. Full details over at his MySpace page.

Sammy Bananas has two more dates left on his epic Summer Of Sammy trek, and promises a full tour diary as soon as he’s done, complete with tales of debauchery and Black Eyed Pea encounters (dude is a Kid Cudi fan, apparently!). Meanwhile, you can check Sammy in Chicago tonight (6.19) at Debonair Social Club and in Milwuakee on Saturday (6.21) at MOCT, and download the Summer Of Sammy mixtape if you haven’t already bowed down to it’s grandeur. “Rhythm Of The Night,” people!

Kid Cudi "Day 'N' Nite" Remix f. Pitbull

Posted on Jun 17th, 2008 in Downloads by Mr. Goldbar

This has been floating around for a hot second, and while we were waiting to get a better quality mp3 of this to share with y’all, we can wait no longer. The story is that Mr 305 heard “Day ‘N’ Nite,” got super into it (“I love this record, dog…”) and decided to throw a freestyle of his own at the beginning. Toma! Download it here (right-click and save-as).

Also: congrats to Ursula Mann and Ashley Jordan, who won tickets to tonight’s Kid Cudi show @ Knitting Factory in NYC. Even if you didn’t snag the freebies, come through anyway, it’s gonna be a fun one. (Now with open bar 9-10, says the Knit!)

Two new flips from our Ottawa bros Jokers Of The Scene are currently busting the dance and making their way accross our interwebs. Grab their raved-out versions of Water Lilly & St Plomb’s “Shake A Leg” and Brodinski’s “Bad Runner” at Beatport, and keep an eye out for JOTS new Fool’s Gold release, Acid Bagg featuring their massive “Baggy Bottom Boys” and “Acidrod,” as well as remixes of the latter from Destroy Disco and Brodinski.
