We’re talking Suicide Girls playing cards, a one night stay at the Trump Hotel King Suite in Chicago (“this gift certificate was in a gift bag i got after playing a set honoring Kanye West at this grammy party last fall”), Oakley shades, Mishka tees, old computers, and more…it’s a bonanza of value, and the closest thing you’ll get to a Flossy D garage sale without moving to the Chi.

The Golden Pillowface

FG friend Steve Aoki drops his mix album Pillowface and His Airplane Chronicles today, and it features a guest verse from Kid Sister over fellow Chicagoan Cajmere’s “Shake And Pop.” Check Steve, A-Trak and a bunch of guests at the Pillowface LA release party tomorrow (Wed 1/23) at Cinespace, and then again at the NYC release party on Saturday (1/26) at Studio B…which doubles as an afterparty for Chromeo’s sold-out Bowery Ballroom show with Kid Sister earlier in the night. Our boy Sammy just dropped this mix to help promote his new 12″ on Fool’s Gold (which you can buy on vinyl at Turntable Lab and cop digitally from our Snocap store). It’s pretty damn FRESHHHHHHH, here’s what he had to say about it:

“I made this mix as a companion to “High Top Fades,” my new Fool’s Gold EP. The tracks on the EP are all dancefloor remixes of early 90’s hits, and working on the songs gave me the idea of making a mix themed around selections in the Hip-Pop cannon from this era. In particular, the mix highlights artists who sported the hair style referenced in the title. Its 55 minutes of fly hair and fresh beats to take you back to your 6th grade dance. Or take me back at least…”

12″ vinyl singles for “Control / Damn Girl” are in stock at Turntable Lab and en route to fine record stores around the globe. The big homie Dust LaRock provided full color artwork, and the final product looks amazing. Seriously, we held it in our hands this morning.
