Fool's Gold SXSW & Miami Showcases

March madness! Like we always do at this time, Team FG is going to be bumrushing a music festival near you with some unforgettable parties featuring the whole fam.

First up, our annual SXSW bash, back at Austin’s Palm Door (remember this one?) on Friday, March 18th with A-Trak, Donnis, Cubic Zirconia, Danny Brown, The Suzan, AraabMuzik, Kingdom, Telephoned, Party Supplies and Nick Catchdubs on the decks between acts all night. It’s an official festival showcase, which means SXSW badges / wristbands get in free all night. (There will be some limited tix for sale at the door.)

The following weekend, we head down to Miami to once again tear the roof off our downtown home Grand Central, rolling with an insane roster of superfriends including A-Trak, Kenny Dope, Riva Starr, Just Blaze, Treasure Fingers, Congorock, LA Riots, Jokers Of The Scene, Nacho Lovers, Kingdom, Nick Catchdubs, Sammy Bananas and…special surprise guests? Switchboard @ Tammany Hall This Tuesday

Switchboard is the partytime creation of Telephoned, taking the spirt of anything-goes genre flippery that colors Telephoned’s music and using it to fuel an unexpected NYC night out with friends and collaborators.

Village Voice praised the first edition, and for good reason: shit was fun! Now Telephoned and co are back for round two, going down tomorrow night (Tuesday, 3/8) at Tammany Hall in NYC – a spot you may remember from our epic holiday party this past December.

It’s free with RSVP and will feature performances from Telephoned, The Suzan, and guest MC Freaky Franz, along with a Switchboard-themed DJ set from the one and only Cosmo Baker. Don’t miss it! Downtown Music Festival

Our friends at Downtown are gearing up to celebrate their five-year anniversary. One night of revelry isn’t going to cut it though, so they’ve whipped up the Downtown Music Festival: Friday, March 4th with our own A-Trak and The Suzan representing, followed by a night at Terminal 5 on Saturday, March 5th featuring folks like Major Lazer, DJ Mehdi and Santigold.

The Suzan "Home" Video + App

NY Mag’s Vulture blog just premiered the Pomp&Clout-directed video for The Suzan’s “Home” – a kaleidoscopic pop adventure featuring four of the coolest girls we know.

There’s a iPhone / iPad app that goes along with it, allowing users to play with the kaleidoscope speed, position, angle and more themselves, while the Suzan knock out their xylophone riffs, surf guitar, and tom tom grooves.
