It took a helluva lot of travel insanity over the past few days to get out there, but Treasure Fingers will be rocking in Australia for New Year’s Eve and beyond… Don’t sleep! Non-animated flyer after the jump. In other TF news, his latest remix for Classixx’ “I’ll Get You” is out now on Beatport. Read More

We threw two parties in NYC to celebrate the label’s 2nd anniversary during this past CMJ fest – if you missed em, you missed out! Fortunately, we scoured the interweb to collect all the photo galleries, etc (hit us up if you have any more).
Check out Karmaloop’s great recap of Night #1 at 88 Palace above, which featured sets by Kingdom, Donnis (joined onstage by fellow ATLien Pill), Treasure Fingers, Sammy Bananas (who even rocked some Telephoned tracks with partner Maggie Horn), Trackademicks and the Honor Roll crew, and – a first for FG! – live band performances by Vega and The Suzan. Hi-Fi Cartel, Metromix, and The Culture Of Me got some pics, Billboard spoke to A-Trak for a video interview, and Beatcakes had a nice little blog post highlighting The Suzan (“probably one of the best shows I have seen in my life”).
For Night #2 we went with an all-DJ lineup at N8 in Brooklyn, featuring Jokers Of The Scene, LA Riots, Nacho Lovers and extended fam Udachi + Jubilee (Jamie from the xx was slated to play as well, but his band’s set ran late – we’ll get him in the mix soon enough!). You can check pics over at Driven By Boredom. Special thanks to Chicago’s own Thunder Horse for providing live projections / bugged visuals for both nights of festivities! See you for the 3-year bash soon…
The amps were on 11. We danced through to the morning light. I bought a horse. It was a memorable odyssey, that 10,000LB Hamburger Tour. Relive it with us one more time!
Thank you to everyone who made it out to one of our shows. To all the special guests as well. To everyone who garnished that burger. Thank you.
Next week FG funk champ Treasure Fingers headlines the latest Scion music tour, a five city rhythm quest that also features DJ sets from Chicago house maestro Roy Davis, Jr and our NY brothers Eli Escobar and Cosmo Baker. “Not to be missed” is the understatement of the year! Check them out for free in Boston, Columbus, Kansas City, Minneapolis and Portland by clicking here to RSVP.
Stop what you’re doing and jam out to these new remixes from Treasure Fingers – his “Vocoder Workout” of Esser’s “Headlock,” and a TF take on Miami Horror’s “Don’t Be On With Her.”
