Right around when A-Trak’s Running Man mix for Nike+ first dropped, he went to the Nike ID studios with our art director Dust La Rock and our pal Kesh to test out some colorways. Now you can put the fruits of their afternoon on your feet by winning these Nike ID dunks! We have 5 pairs to give away, all you have to do is email us your name, shoe size, shipping address (no PO boxes, you gotta be able to sign for these) and phone number, and we’ll choose winners at random next week.
UPDATE: Almost 1,000 entries in a weekend, not too shabby! Congratulations to Erin McCulley of St Petersburg, Keena Carson of Newport News, Ronald Moore Jr of the Bronx, Dean Bryce of London, and Yan Philippe of Montreal!
Trizzy hits SF for Vin Sol and Morse Code’s monthly party “Born And Raised” at 333 Ritch this Friday (8.22). Dust La Rock on the flyer!
I meant to post this 24 hours ago but internet access is like the Holy Grail when you’re on the road.
I landed in London after the classic yet dreaded overnight flight. I had a bad case of the Middle Seat Blues but I did manage to get 2 or 3 hours of sleep in there. As we took off I was starving and really looking forward to my meal. I was in the second-to-last row though so I knew I’d have to twiddle my thumbs for a hot minute. Then the guy on my left got his meal before everyone. He had one of those “special” orders. I was thinking, I’m going to start asking for kosher meals when I book these flights. Most of you know that I’m Jewish, but I eat everything, I don’t really care. However if this will allow me to eat before everyone else, sign me up! Bring on the airplane latkes, baby. Those meals are probably better anyway since they make less of them.
This picture comes to us directly from our very own Daniel LeDisko, spotted on a train in Norway. What’s on in Oslo? Me, that’s what. Umm, wrong, unfortunately. I had to cancel my Scandinavian dates about 2 weeks ago. Sorry! I guess no one informed the railway service.
A-Trak, JOTS, and a gang of other suspicious characters are teaming up this weekend for the Time Festival in Toronto. Go check em if you’re in the neighborhood.

This fall, say no to tweezers.
Boys Noize and I are embarking on a spectacular world tour for the ages. Europe in September, select North American dates in October… (West Coast, we’ll hit you next time!) It’s a peaceful union between Germany and Canada, all for the sake of DJing and baseball caps.
Oh and that title isn’t a typo. It’s uniBRO because we’re bros, bro. Shout out to the Bro Bro Brothers.
Flyer and logo designed by the great Nick Catchdubs.
I did an interview for Erol Alkan’s website, check it out!.
By the way I’m loving the Late Of The Pier stuff that Erol’s been producing. Look for the song “Focker”, it’s bonkers!
