Trizzy, Tiga, FlyLo, them Miike Snow boyz and Yelawolf take the stage this Saturday for some post-Thanksgiving action at HARD’s latest NYC event at Terminal 5. Tryptophantastic! (After the 2am curfew come get weird with us at Dust and Michna’s Mix The Orb release party.)
We already gave you the lowdown on Dust La Rock’s cassette collab with Michna, Mix The Orb. Hopefully you snatched up a copy when you had the chance… cause they all gone! Fortunately, the gents were kind enough to release a digital copy to the interworld today, courtesy of XLR8R.
There’s also going to be a release party next week (Sat 11/27) featuring all-vinyl sets from DJ Dara, Star Eyes, Michna and DLR himself at the Public Assembly Loft for maximum mindbending house party vibes. Don’t miss it! Read More
FG friends Four Color Zack and Pretty Titty bring their beloved Sing Sing party out of retirement in order to provide Sasquatch-sized party jams for the people of Seattle next Friday (11/19) at Neumos. Reunited and it bass so good!
This Saturday, Red Bull Canada is throwing a massive audio/visual event in Vancouver called Megahurtz. Our boys Jokers Of The Scene will be taking the stage, but not as the DJ duo you know and love. Instead, they will be performing as Blank Capsule, a new live band team-up with Vitaminsforyou. Stay tuned for video from the show and more BC news; meanwhile, get a taste of what this combo has in store on their track from Fool’s Gold Vol 1, “Power Slave.”
Fresh off celebrating their anniversary – and being named “Best New Party” by Paper Magazine – Flashing Lights, the monthly danceathon spearheaded by FG’s Nick Catchdubs and fellow DJs Ayres and Jubilee, returns this Saturday (11/13) at Public Assembly in Brooklyn.
This month their special guest is another Fool: Sammy Bananas! Don’t miss out on fresh jams from SB (including “Move Your Body” off the new Fool’s Gold compilation LP) and the rest of the crew tomorrow night!
The last batch went in an instant, so the good folks of Pacha have given us 4 more passes to see Congorock and Benny Benassi on Friday night in NYC. To sweeten the deal, we’re also gonna throw in a Congo tee (as shown by FG intern Lindsay above) to the 1st person to leave their name in the comments. Go go go!
Done! Congrats everybody. You can still get tickets at the door if you want to go Friday. And Congorock tees (and other FG merch) is always for sale at our webstore.

He’ll be rinsing it out alongside dance hero Benny Benassi, and you can win free tickets to the night right here on the FG blog! We have 5 pairs to give away to the first folks to tweet (or Facebook or reblog it, whatever’s clever) this link and post it in the comments. And if you don’t make the giveaway cutoff, fret not – regular tickets are still available, info after the jump. Read More
