Check this interview with Hervé speaking on his brand new Ghetto Bass compilation, which handily includes Jokers Of The Scene’s “Baggy Bottom Boys (DZ Ravestep Remix)” among its 36 tracks. You can also cop that track by itself on the digital version of JOTS Acid Bagg EP on Beatport and all other digi retailers.
This weekend Jokers Of The Scene hit the United Kingdom for shows at London’s Cargo (2.20) and Glasgow’s Arches (2.21) with L-Vis 1990 and Brodinski, respectively. This week the Fool’s Gold international DJ exchange program brings another new star to our shores, as the big beat frenzy of Italy’s Congorock comes to Toronto, Winnipeg, NYC and Los Angeles (the last one is a real doozy, a free show with our boys Rusko and AC Slater also on the bill). Peep all the party dates after the jump.
This mini-trek is meant to amp everyone up for the release of Congorock’s debut Fool’s Gold 12″ single “Runark,” a bleep-ed out club monster that comes backed with a massive remix by labelmates Jokers Of The Scene and two more originals, all wrapped up in psychomystical sleeve art by Dust La Rock. Vinyl is in production now, and you can get the digital version (with a bonus remix by His Majesty Andre) exclusively at Turntable Lab starting Feb 24th, with all other digi retailers to follow. “BIIIIIG CHOOOON” says us. “THANKS!” says y’all. Then on Tuesday they rock the Dance party (truth in advertising!) at Arena. Flyer for that one after the jump.
UPDATE: Since 103.1 stopped broadcasting on Friday (PS: FUUUUUUCK!), the JOTS mix will only be available on the station’s online stream. But the airwaves loss is your gain, since the guys are using the night to play Trust in the OC. Whoo! Read More

Meet them in the rave cave – and if you wanna do that from the comfort of your own home, give a listen to Neon Noise on Indie 103.1 FM Saturday night at midnight for a special guest JOTS set.
As alluded to in the recap, we shot some video with Red Foxx at his uber-ravey Heartthrob party in Boston on an off-night during the FG Remixed Tour. The footage was for Jokers Of The Scene’s “Baggy Bottom Boys” video, and Mr Foxxy and the JOTS lads will be filming much more their Disorganised party at Babylon in Ottawa this Friday (aka tonight!). Roll through if you’re in the area, and stay tuned to the blog for more vid updates. Meanwhile, grab “Baggy Bottom Boys” and the rest of the tracks on JOTS’ Acid Bagg EP on Beatport or iTunes now. The long-awaited vinyl release drops later in the month!
