Our bros Craze and Four Color Zack got something to say! Their new 2¢ megamix takes a stand against fakers, perpetrators, button-pushers, “DJ list” cornballs and finesse-deficient individuals everywhere! But this is no polemic: 2¢ is a fun listen throughout, packed with hype bits, inside jokes, and tons of wicky wicky wicky. Download it now, peep FCZ’s Slap It Down EP with DJ Scene for more jams (cop some #REALDJING merch from us while you’re at it!) and catch Craze tonight at Verboten in Brooklyn with The Rub, DJ Wonder and Sammy Bananas for all your weekend party needs. Get tix here!
Nick Catchdubs remixes our FG homies, The Rub “Bring On The Love” featuring Tatiana Owens. An emotional banger that will keep you lurking through the club just like the creeping synth line in this track. Check out Nick live every Friday at Webster Hall in NYC and next week in Japan 8/22 for Fool’s Gold’s first ever official Japanese party! Be on the lookout for more music from Mr. Catchdubs coming very soon!
A few weeks ago, BK club kings and longtime FG friends The Rub dropped their first EP of original tunes, and have just followed it up with a remixed edition, featuring even more fam (like Trackademicks, XXXChange, Natalie Storm) up in the party. Check it out now! (And for more vibes, grab The Rub’s contribution to our Foolcast mix series).
Our dudes The Rub are celebrating the 10 year anniversary of their long-running Brooklyn dance party this weekend with “Summer Of The Rub,” a free all-day, all-ages blowout at Dekalb Market on Saturday (6/23). To celebrate, they put together a great mix of classic rock (really!) for the Foolcast.
Subscribe to the Foolcast via iTunes or your favorite RSS reader at the main Foolcast page, where you can also download the mix directly (right click and save-as). Hit the jump for the tracklist alongside Ayres’ explanation of how the inspiration all came together (as well as details for the party, which will also feature Neil Armstrong and Rich Medina on the decks).
