Rogerseventytwo’s insanely catchy “You Take Me Higher” continues to make new fans (HI WOLFGANG!) thanks to its infectious vocal loops and boundless sense of joy. Ministry Of Sound re-released the track in Europe earlier this year along with some remixes, including this chunky version by our bud Proper Villains. Check it out…

Our dude Rogerseventytwo has a new collab coming out with The Walk under their TWR72 moniker. The “Paradox” EP is another quirky gem in the Sound Pellegrino catalog, featuring the title track alongside “Impulse” and “Simple” (on the latter, each member of the duo takes turns crafting a signature mix). Give a listen to the whole thing on Soundcloud, and grab it wherever fine digital music is sold on August 29th.

Hit up Beatport this second and grab “You Take Me Higher,” a joyous, totally infectious dance gem from Rogerseventytwo, the numerical gentleman currently riding high as half of TWR72, the duo behind techno hit “Future Tool” and remixes for Hey Today! (Kitsune) and Teki Latex (Sound Pellegrino).
Amazingly, this irresistible disco house singalong went unsigned for months and months until A-Trak (who had made it a staple of his live sets, both solo and as Duck Sauce with Armand Van Helden) snapped it up for Fool’s Gold. “You Take Me Higher” is finally ready to go from a fileshared DJ secret weapon to a true club anthem for the summer.
The single package includes a brand new, beefed-up mix of the title track, along with a futuristic, R&B inspired take from Brooklyn upstart Brenmar (Grizzly), and a massive, deep techno version by Italy’s NT89 (Southern Fried). And if that’s not enough, it all comes backed by two more Rogerseventytwo originals: the foot stomping “What You Wanna Be” alongside the synth chops and big room boom of “Future Funk.”
Check Rogerseventytwo rocking with us on July 8th as part of the FOOL’S GOLD TAKES PARIS megaparty going down at Grande Halle De La Villette with A-Trak, Chromeo and many more.
