Our boy Sammy just dropped this mix to help promote his new 12″ on Fool’s Gold (which you can buy on vinyl at Turntable Lab and cop digitally from our Snocap store). It’s pretty damn FRESHHHHHHH, here’s what he had to say about it:
“I made this mix as a companion to “High Top Fades,” my new Fool’s Gold EP. The tracks on the EP are all dancefloor remixes of early 90’s hits, and working on the songs gave me the idea of making a mix themed around selections in the Hip-Pop cannon from this era. In particular, the mix highlights artists who sported the hair style referenced in the title. Its 55 minutes of fly hair and fresh beats to take you back to your 6th grade dance. Or take me back at least…”
the smooth ottawa operators just uploaded their new mix for top shelf motherfucker. check out some previews of JOTS’ forthcoming 12″ on fool’s gold, as well as their great blaqstarr remix out soon on mad decent.
