A-Trak “Gold Gone Wild II” Club Tour

Posted on Mar 24th, 2015

There’s no one in the game quite like A-Trak. The DJ icon, Fool’s Gold founder and Grammy-nominated producer wears many hats (pun intended), but he still shines brightest on stage, combining forward thinking musical selections with true turntable fireworks. Once a year, the flag-bearer of #RealDJing takes his spectacular show to small venues where he can be closest to fans. And it’s that time of year again.

This June, A-Trak will be joined by MPC beat king Araabmuzik and dancehall futurist Ape Drums on the Fool’s Gold “Gold Gone Wild” tour. A-Trak is known for his largely improvised sets, and this time you can expect Araab to join in on the acrobatics. Acclaimed artist and frequent collaborator Kidmograph provides brand new stunning visuals, and every venue will get its own Fool’s Gold pop-up kiosk, emulating the Brooklyn label’s flagship store.

Says Trizzy: “I’ve been in the studio for the last couple months. The first thing I want to do now is play shows where I can spin whatever I want for as long as I want. The best environment for that is clubs, so I picked my 6 favorites in North America. To me these are like incubators where I can try out new routines that later make their way into my festival sets. I can’t wait to push my limits every night!”
