First Duck Sauce got Luis Guzman-ed, now HBO continues their How To Make It In America promo with a look at A-Trak in entrepreneur mode as co-founder of Fool’s Gold, going behind the scenes at our store launch and Members Only collab party.

United Kingdom! You can buy L-Vis 1990’s Neon Dreams LP today pon the iTunes. France can get busy too. It’s groovy and recommended, not just because it features boardwork from our own Nick Hook of Cubic Zirconia (as well as Para One and of course L-Vis himself). Try before you buy? Listen to the stream at Fact Magazine. And don’t forget Cubic Zirconia’s album is out now too.
After the jump, peep some Neon Dreams studio sessions courtesy of Fader TV. Read More

On November 1st, Danny Brown and Black Milk team up for the Black & Brown EP on Fat Beats. Pitchfork has the tracklist and cover art for their Detroit collab (and some props for Danny’s solo jam “Brown Eyes” off the Peter Rosenberg What’s Poppin mixtape).

As heard on Fool’s Gold Radio (and everywhere else A-Trak has been DJing this summer), the Trizzy-enhanced version of the Rapture’s gospel stomper “How Deep Is Your Love” is out now on iTunes, Beatport and everywhere else fine digital music is sold.
Update: A-Trak shares some words on how it all came together, along with this free “Dub For Mehdi” on the DFA SoundCloud.

Starting tonight, The Suzan will “come come” to Virginia, ATL and Chapel Hill for a trio of shows. Kid Sis recently got in the studio with Riff Raff to jump on a track produced by Sinden and 5kinandbone5, and you can check the results above. Suffice it to say, they brought the rice out. Stay tuned for Kid Sister’s new EP!

A few days ago, FOOD GOLD was delighted to be invited to Le Grand Fooding‘s Campire Session, a sort of downtown open air culinary fair meets chill music event put together by Parisian food connoisseurs Emilie Papatheodorou and Anna Polonsky. In the house for this special event were Mr. Dante Gonzalez, of Dante Fried Chicken fame, gastro-celebrity/molecular don Wylie Dufresne and his sous-chefs Andrew Andrew, Parisian uber chef (aka the David Chang of Paris) Mr. Inaki Aizpitarte and his cooking partner Mr. James Murphy. It was quite the line up. Nancy Whang from LCD/Juan Maclean and Sondre Lerche provided the tunes. Color commentary on the bites after the jump! Read More
