This respected music journalist and bugged out prose purveyor spent years tracing the history of electronic voices from World War II laboratories to 80s synth music to cell phones. With interview subjects ranging from Ramellzee to T-Pain (and of course our own P-Thugg dropping vocoder science), this fascinating, lovingly researched and entertainingly written book is a must.
