Following right on the heels of Infinity +1 is A-Trak’s new Fabric Live mix, which came out in Europe a minute ago but hits stores in the land of the free today. So go pick it up! Happy Cinco De Maino!

The Crookers remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite” won Best Indie Dance/Nu Disco Track and A-Trak’s remix of Boys Noize’s “Oh” won Best Electro House Track in the 2009 Beatport Music Awards. Next year we’re gunnin for that Best Psy Trance!

Last Thursday’s “Best Of The Beast” opening was the place to be, as a couple hundred of our best friends and fam came out for Fool’s Gold art director Dust La Rock’s debut solo show. Queen Majesty, Vin Sol, Nick Catchdubs and Dave1 spun the tunes, Red Stripe and Vitamin Water provided refreshments, Fader debuted their new issue, Worship Worthy made sure everything ran smoothly and a literal who’s who of NYC’s creative community brought infinite good vibes to celebrate one of their own.
Check out these full photo galleries from Ian Meyer, Nicky Digital, Driven By Boredom (who also shot the event for Village Voice, Village Slum (a bunch more on Flickr too), as well as some recaps at Street Level, Hypebeast, RCRD LBL and Herald De Paris. Dust, Trizzy and Catch filmed a MTV News interview which should be up shortly, and in the meantime you can check some video of the show from Bongoboy along with A-Trak’s Flipcam Q&As with Haze and Sammy Bananas (along with some of our photo gallery favorites) after the jump. This year’s edition of the Fool’s Gold WMC Spectacular was our second consecutive year tearing down White Room in downtown Miami, and we finally got back all the pics and video documenting the fun-splosion. After a packed weekend of shows, we started the day bum rushing the Stones Throw pool party, killed a giant family dinner at the steakhouse, then hit the clurb. Along with all the FG fam rocking on stage (Sammy Bananas, Nick Catchdubs, Treasure Fingers, Jokers Of The Scene and Nacho Lovers – who took over the whole side room for a night of deeeeeeep house and techno) we played host to special guests Steve Aoki, DJ Mehdi, a rare Annie Mac x Fake Blood tag team, and hometown hero Craze, who ended his set by rocking with A-Trak in an epic impromptu scratch session.
We went the whole night long, staying packed long after the other shows closed down (and gave us second and third winds as the party people trickled in). Check the pics and video after the jump, and Ian Meyer’s full photo gallery here. Also peep A-Trak and Mehdi’s solo blog recaps. Read More

Check out the latest episode of James Mountain’s Escape Plan on Ministry of Sound Radio for an interview on the beach with A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs, as well as a guest mix from Catchy featuring a slew of new and recent tunes from the FG roster.

Hit up Martin Louis The King’s blog to download “I Poke Her Face,” a new Lady Gaga-flipping track from Cudder with guest verses from Kanye and Common and A-Trak on the cut. Trizzy explains how it came together (gold star if you can name what break record the whoo! comes from…)

A-Trak’s latest and greatest mix CD is hitting shops near you today (along with new discs from UGK, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, fellow Canucks Thunderheist, and more) so go out and stimulate the economy! HIT THE RECORD STORE AND COPPETH THAT SCHITT!
If you don’t feel like leaving the house that’s cool too, grab Infinity +1 on iTunes or the Fool’s Gold webstore (where you can also buy all our new tees, etc) for just TEN BUCKS and get a free poster to boot.

Recappery from our label showcase and the rest of WMC weekend coming soon!
Meanwhile check some of Bronques’ pics from the Bacardi B Live show with A-Trak, Chromeo, and Kid Sister, as well as Stones Throw’s pics from their Hella International party where the Brothers Macklovitch DJed (and Cosmo Baker met Cozmo D from Newcleus, Gaslamp Killer dropped dubstep heaters, Pase Rock styled on em, Dances With White Girls fell asleep, Catchdini proclaimed “Clipse album cuts will be to the next five years of Stones Throw WMCs what Ghostface album cuts were to the last five” and numerous other hijinks…)
