Sinden + Jokers Of The Scene On Tour!

Posted on Apr 14th, 2010

We’re getting flashbacks to the Screaming Bloody Murder days with the news that Sinden and Jokers Of The Scene are teaming up for some tour dates this month, starting 4/20 (woah) at Czar in Tampa, then hitting Columbus, Bloomington, SLC and Oklahoma City. The shows are FREE thanks to our pals at Scion, and you can RSVP for them here. Franki Chan and DJ Eleven will be along for the trek, don’t miss em.

You can also check JOTS and Sinden teaming up for HARD’s Bloody Beetroots megashows in Los Angeles – the first night is sold out, but the boys have been added to the just-announced second night. Flyer after the jump. There’s several solo JOTS solo shows in between, check them all on their MySpace including this big SF show on the 23rd.

Don’t sleep!

To get in the mood, grab JOTS’ mix of the Count + Sinden’s “Mega” on iTunes, Beatport or actual live vinyl, and download Sinden’s new mix for The Fader. Read More

This weekend Jokers Of The Scene hit the United Kingdom for shows at London’s Cargo (2.20) and Glasgow’s Arches (2.21) with L-Vis 1990 and Brodinski, respectively. They’ll also be rocking Sinden’s Kiss FM radio show Thursday night (though not sure when that episode will air yet). Check em out if you’re in the neighborhood!

If you can’t make it out to the UK on such short notice, enjoy these mp3s of JOTS last two radio appearances on the Indie 103.5 (RIP) Neon Noise show and Annie Mac’s BBC 1Xtra Mash-Up programme (thats how they spell it over thurr), tracklists and download links for both after the jump. Read More

"Say Whoa" Single Is Out!

Posted on Oct 16th, 2008

Sure sure it’s on Kitsune but it’s my single goddammit and we put the Fool’s Gold logo on there! So I’m putting this on this-here blog.

Sooooooo I have a track called “Say Whoa”, you probably heard it on my “Running Man” record (or at least on the snippets if your lazy arse didn’t purchase it) and now it’s out as a single! You also get remixes by Sinden (pounding!) and Boys Noize (paranoia-inducing!) and best of all, my very own Kitsune head drawering.

Buy it on:
iTunes
Beatport
Turntable Lab (vinyl)
…and many other reputable retailers!

Gelato And Rainboots: A-Trak Goes Euroclubbing

Posted on Jul 8th, 2008

I was only back from Europe for 2 weeks when I boarded that cheap charter flight where they fed us President’s Choice TV dinners and headed back to Ye Olde Continent. First stop, Paris. I was booked to play a Vice party with that tall frenchman known as Busy P. Before the gig they had an Ed Banger in-store at Virgin where a special guest was advertised. That was me, I’m special. Hard to keep a surprise when I’m the only guy on Serato, going on stage to make sure they have the turntables plugged right. The Virgin Megastore is really big and it was fun to have an all-ages audience. They had us playing on a mixer that I don’t know and I spent my whole set looking for the “crossfader on” switch, but aside from that it went well!
