Whooo! “Luuk Out Gurl” is a collab between some of Chicago’s finest, Flosstradamus and Kid Sister. Their footwork-inspired jam is not only the first original track from Floss in almost two years, but the lead volley off their new EP, Jubilation, dropping soon on Fool’s Gold and featuring even more hyperactive raps and drum machine b-b-boom. And as you may have heard, Kid Sister has a new EP of her own on deck… PARTY TIME!
We escaped Hurricane Irene a few weeks back to rock with our friends @Superfun and Hennessy for the “Great Chicago BBQ” behind RSVP Gallery. Check the recap video above to see what goes down when you put Flosstradamus, Party Supplies and Nick Catchdubs on a roof while a few hundred of Chicago’s most stylish ladies and gents party down below. Some photo galleries from CY Magazine, Refinery 29 and A City In The Midwest are up as well.

The first full-length albums on FG are available for download today on iTunes and everywhere else fine digital music is sold. Stop what you’re doing and grab Fool’s Gold Vol 1 (featuring new music from the whole fam) and Golden Week For The Poco Poco Beat this second!
As you may have seen on Pitchfork today, our first-ever compilation LP, Fool’s Gold Vol 1 is making its way to you fine people of planet Earth on October 25th (same day as The Suzan LP – they both got bumped to Monday cause of Taylor Swift. Good looking out ma!)
The 14 new tracks on Fool’s Gold Vol 1 are a 3-D look at where FG has been and where we’re going next. “Ray Ban Vision,” A-Trak’s robot-rocking collab with G.O.O.D. Music upstart CyHi Da Prynce, sits comfortably next to Treasure Fingers’ joyous dance pop throwback “Keep Up” and The Suzan’s rollicking cover of Miike Snow’s “Animal,” along with new tracks from other exciting, constantly-evolving talents like Kingdom, Flosstradamus, and even Lil B, who teases his forthcoming EP with the #based bass of “Freeze.”
You will be able to download Vol 1 from all fine music retailers, as well as purchase a limited-edition CD copy (and other FG treats) at Opening Ceremony boutiques worldwide. We are immensely proud to share these new tracks from our family with all of you!
