After teasing you with date and city announcements (and selling out earlybird tickets before revealing a single act), we’re psyched to release lineups for this year’s edition of FOOL’S GOLD DAY OFF events, hitting Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Miami and Austin starting August 29th.
Label founders A-Trak and Nick Catchdubs have once again curated North America’s most culturally resonant festival. Who else brings together street rap royalty Meek Mill (currently riding high with the #1 album in the country), UK grime icon Skepta and underground superstars Flatbush Zombies? Who can showcase EDM favorites Flosstradamus and Alison Wonderland alongside nu-millennial MCs D.R.A.M. and Post Malone? Top it off with fresh label signings Rome Fortune, ManMan Savage, Bosco, Leaf, Hoodboi, Falcons and Shash’U and you’ve got an eclectic and electrifying lineup, in true Fool’s Gold style.
“DAY OFF is our culture. It’s where the full scope of Fool’s Gold comes together, it’s everything we represent. It doesn’t belong to one scene or another: DAY OFF is generational. We’ve watched it grow, step by step, with pride. I can’t wait to pull some more surprises this year!” – A-Trak
Tickets for all five DAY OFF events are available now at fgdayoff.com, along with recap videos and photos from the last five years of FGDO shows, featuring Danny Brown, A$AP Rocky, Run The Jewels, Juicy J, Young Thug, French Montana and many others. Read More

The annual Fool’s Gold Austin extravaganza keeps getting bigger and better! Check out what went down at our official SXSW showcase, our after-hours bash with A$AP Yams at the Illmore, the mega-label Super Party team-up with Mad Decent and Check Yo Ponytail, and more (including Danny Brown proudly accepting an mtvU Video Of The Year Woodie!) in this official recap video.
The video is out for A-Trak and friends’ psychedelic, parole-violatin’ posse cut. Must THC TV! Roll with Trizzy and friends Jim Jones, Flatbush Zombies, El-P and Flosstradamus (and the spiritual essence of Juicy J) on a particularly smoked out night in NYC. A$AP Mob, World’s Fair and more come along for the ride, Shomi Patwary works the cameras, and the whole thing is appropriately turnt. Get the track and much more on our compilation Loosies, out now!
Like Guru said, it’s mostly the voice. This week’s batch of RAT recommendations features some of the livest larynxes (pause?) of the moment, as well as other mp3 by-products of a near crippling internet addiction. My loss is your gain! Get em all in a zip here. Read More
